Robotics Newsletter

Hello Parents

Baik and I are excited to share that the kids have built the base of the Robot and have learned the basics of block programming. They have learned many of the sensor functions and how to calculate circumference of a wheel in order to calculate the distance. They have learned how to program engine power and torque and learned how to turn degrees and turn rotations and how to get the robot to turn. Based on their learning we held a small competition where each team needed to figure out how to calculate the distance between cups in a square and how to get the robot to move in a square shape and return to its original position. Sofia and Jasmine were the first to figure this out and won the challenge! We are sharing a short video and some pictures as well :)
